About Bridget Archer
Bridget Archer is recognized for her success in listing and selling
horse farms and equestrian properties in Charlottesville and Central Virginia.
Guided by integrity, refined marketing, and a lifelong understanding of the equestrian lifestyle, she provides
discerning clients with highly personalized representation for farms, barns, acreage properties, and
country estates that require more than standard real estate knowledge.
Her perspective is shaped by an international upbringing. Having grown up in Paris, France,
and throughout Asia, Bridget developed an early appreciation for beauty, craftsmanship, land, and
the distinct character of exceptional places. These influences continue to inform how she presents
and markets equestrian estates and rural properties throughout Virginia horse country.
A lifelong equestrian, Bridget rode dressage, owned her own barn, and broke and trained young horses.
That firsthand experience gives her a practical understanding of what matters in a horse property—from
pasture, fencing, and water access to barns, arenas, layout, and day-to-day functionality. She understands
that equestrian real estate is not simply about acreage, but about how a farm lives, works, and rides.
Bridget is also a dedicated practitioner of Pa Kua, an internal Chinese martial art. That discipline reflects
her approach to business as well—bringing focus, patience, intuition, and strategic clarity to every client
relationship and every transaction.
Her professional background is intentionally broad. Prior to her real estate career, Bridget served as
Director of Education for the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors,
Director of Sales, Marketing, and Trainer in the senior living industry, and as a
Psychometrician in clinical research trials at the University of Virginia.
Earlier in her career, she spent a decade in the Los Angeles music industry before moving to Charlottesville in 1983.
She has been a licensed Realtor® since 1990.
Today, Bridget brings that rare combination of equestrian insight, marketing sophistication, and local knowledge
to the representation of Central Virginia horse farms, equestrian estates, and country properties.
She understands how to position these distinctive properties for qualified buyers who value land, lifestyle, and legacy.
